Italy’s Pietro Fabiani had an dream three days in the compound flights and put down a magical 900 with 70X on the last day of competition at the 2025 Vegas Shoot.
“Unbelievable!” he said. “I still can't believe it, I don't know what to say. I didn't expect it. I dreamt about it. I didn't expect it though. A new bow makes a difference!"
It’s the first ever 900 from the Italian, who finished 10th last year in the compound flights with an 892. “Yes, it’s my first 900 ever. Actually, first 300 in Vegas. It’s pretty amazing!" The 35-year-old Italian also placed 17th at the Great Chicago Open earlier in the year.
Fabiani picked up a $3,000 check for his efforts. (Almost 1 in 4 archers in the compound flights receive a payout). This was the last 900 of the 2025 Vegas Shoot, and his was the only 900 in the compound flights this year, with 10 archers just behind him on 899. Last year, three flights archers made the 900 mark.
