With The Vegas Shoot just around the corner (March 5-9), we know many of you are wondering how to transport your bows between your hotel room and the competition area. To make things easier, every archer will receive a free soft bow cover in their welcome bag!
What You Need to Know:
For the safety and convenience of all hotel guests and hotel staff, bows must be securely cased and/or covered at all times when outside of designated shooting venues. This includes traveling through hotel lobbies, casinos, elevators, and hotel room floors.
To make things easy, we’re giving every archer a soft bow cover!
Covers for Everyone! Recurve shooters will receive a recurve cover, and compound shooters will get a compound cover—both included in your goody bag.
Designed for Convenience! These covers fit over your fully assembled bow (minus long stabilizers) to make it easier to move through the hotels hassle-free.
Why the Covers? This is a requirement from the hotels to ensure a smooth experience for both archers and other guests. The Horseshoe and Paris are large, high-traffic hotels with a mix of archers and non-archers. This policy helps prevent unnecessary disruptions and ensures archery events remain welcome in Las Vegas.
Bow Cases & Storage
When traveling between properties, we strongly recommend using a bow case for added protection. Both the Horseshoe and Paris will have dedicated bow storage areas to help archers easily transition between storage, practice, and competition spaces.
Plan Ahead & Stay on Schedule
Give yourself extra time when transporting your bow. Archery equipment can cause slowdowns at elevators and crowded areas, so plan accordingly to avoid delays.

Extra Protection
We’ve read a lot of comments about bringing a soft case—that is a great plan for added protection while traveling between venues. If you have one, we highly recommend bringing it along as an extra layer of security for your equipment.
This is a new system, and we’ll see how it goes this year. But for now, we’ve made the investment to hook up all archers with a free cover to help everyone follow the policy easily. The cover is yours to keep!
